Delete your data

This page explains how to request deletion of the data collected by Glowance, the skin and hair scanning app published by Glowance. Glowance does not use accounts or logins — your data is stored against an anonymous identifier generated on your device, so the fastest and most reliable way to delete everything is from inside the app.

How to request deletion

To delete all of your Glowance data, follow these steps in the app:

1. Open the Glowance app.
2. Tap the Profile tab.
3. Tap Delete my data.
4. Confirm by tapping Delete in the dialog that appears.

Your data is then permanently removed from our servers and from your device right away. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.

If you can’t open the app

If you have uninstalled Glowance or can’t reach the Delete my data button, email us at ammariqbal043@gmail.com and we will delete your data for you within 30 days. Because there are no accounts, please email from a device that still has the app installed, or include any details that help us locate your data.

What data is deleted

Requesting deletion removes all of the following from our servers and your device:

• Your name and onboarding answers
• Your scan photos and their analysis results
• Your daily glow plan and routine completions
• Your anonymous per-install device identifier

What data is kept, and for how long

After deletion we do not keep your scans, photos, glow plan, profile, or onboarding answers. The only data that may be retained is:

• Anonymized, aggregate records that cannot be linked back to you — kept indefinitely for analytics.
• Records we are legally required to keep (for example, transaction or tax records) — kept only for the retention period required by law, then deleted.
